| Position: The Maintenance Controller reports to MOC Manager. He/she will monitor the operation and direct actions to ensure the aircraft safety is maintained. Track and control aircraft defects and formulate plans to ensure timely rectification and lowest possible numbers of deferred defects are carried forward. Provide 24 hour technical assistance and direction to flight crew and Engineers system wide. Identify recurring defects and trends and construct rectification plans for rectification. Formulate and institute plans for service recovery to avoid technical delays. Represent Maintenance support interests with other departments and aircraft manufacturers. |
